Photos from the Sweetheart Show

What a party!  Thanks to all our friends and family who helped us celebrate last week - it was really fun!  Carol's house looked beautiful - we couldn't have found a better spot to display our work. Thanks to all who bought our work - we hope you all enjoy the paintings and sculptures!  The food and table decorations looked great.  Brenna made those amazing tulips from peppers!  We had so much help in putting this together - special thanks to Carol and Larry, my parents Ivan and Glenna, to Barbara, my partner in chocolate, to Mary Frances who directed the hanging of the show, and to Jane, Thia, Diana, and Vicki for helping out during the show.  There were so many people who brought special treats I don't think I have it straight yet, but thank you all.  And the Desert Larks - what beautiful music!  That was a special treat.  Also, the Mimbres Region Arts Council put on a great Chocolate Fantasia this year!  We were delighted to be a part of it.

Celebrating Life, Love and Art!

My husband, Jim Palmer and I decided to celebrate 20 years together by hosting a show during Chocolate Fantasia in Silver City, New Mexico on February 10 and 11, 2012. This is one of the Mimbres Region Arts Council's major fundraisers and we're delighted to participate this year. We'll be giving out handmade chocolates and sharing our work with friends, family and visitors. Don't forget to buy your ticket for Chocolate Fantasia - they sell out quickly! Since retiring, Jim and I spend a lot of our time working on sculptures and painting. Jim will have all of his latest bronze sculptures on exhibit.  Below is one of his pieces that will be at the show.
